Carthage Public Library has 6 computers with Internet access available for use by the public during our regular hours. There is no charge to use the computers, but there is a charge for printing, 25 cents per page for color printing, 20 cents for black and white.
Our card catalog is also available on-line, http://rsacat.alsrsa.org
The public may also access our wireless access point using their own laptop computers. The wireless range covers most of the beautiful courthouse lawn, as well as the interior of the library. To use the wireless access, set your 802.11b-compliant wireless card to use the "SSID" of "CarthagePublicWireless". The SSID is somtimes called the "network ID" but all 802.11 cards will have an option, whatever the name, which tells the card what network to look for. There is currently no encryption settings, so set any such options on your card to "open" or "none."
