HONEY CREEK

On the 27th of May, 1827, the Baptist church, named “Honey Creek,” was organized. The “council” was composed of Elders Thomas Snelson, of Highland county, and Benjamin Caves, of Pickaway county, and Deacon John Hite, of Fairfield county. In 1830, Elder Lewis Seitz was chosen pastor of this church and served for many years.
