LUCKIAMUTE

Luckiamute Church was organized on June 21, 1873, at a school house near the home of Brother David Parker, with seven charter members, viz., Medders Vanderpool, Willis Elliott, John A. Miller, David Parker, James Vanderpool, Mary Jane Miller, and Nancy Parker. The presbytery was composed of Elders Ezra Stout, Michael Loveridge, Abner Shanks, A. T. Beebe, and William M. Morrow, and Deacons and other brethren, Jesse H. Adams, John T. Crooks, B. F. Jesse, David Barker, and Edward Loat.
